Sterling Silver Barbed Wire Chain Necklace

A handmade barbed wire solid sterling silver chain necklace.
This piece is delicate but deadly.
I'm inspired by textures and objects in the landscape around me, and love when the brutal and beautiful, weathered and wonderful combine.
Each barbed wire link is individually made by twisting, wrapping, and soldering together sterling silver wire before being connected with elongated oval links - all handmade by me in my Dublin studio. Each barb is blunted for comfort.
This piece is made to order so please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery. Get in touch if you need it sooner and I may be able to accommodate.
This one's just under 16" and features an adjustable chain closure with a secure lobster clasp at the back, but they can be made to order in any length and with a different closure mechanism, if you prefer.
